Fast and accurate results
Specimens are mounted on polyurethane specimen tubes and placed inside the test box, four tubes in each box. The counter is set for the specified number of revolutions and the machine started. At the end of the test, the samples are assessed by means of comparison to standards or references inside a suitable viewing cabinet. The machine can be supplied as a two box or four box version, with the option of the boxes having snagging pins fitted to carry out the snagging tests. The boxes have a cylindrical external cover for added safety. The instrument is supplied with a single speed motor, the boxes rotating at 60rpm. An alternative unit with a variable speed drive is available.
